About

About: Story

At Tamzen Lundy Designs, I create handmade felted gifts using traditional wet felting techniques and 100% natural wool fibres. Every item is crafted with care, sustainability, and creativity in mind — from whimsical ornaments to practical pieces with a playful twist.

Based in County Kildare, Ireland, my work is inspired by Irish landscapes, folklore, and the natural world. I use an eco-conscious process: wool + soap + water + rolling + time = sustainable magic.

As one of the oldest textile crafts in the world, wet felting connects us to the past while offering endless potential for modern, imaginative design. I’m passionate about offering high-quality, eco-friendly wool gifts that are as meaningful as they are beautiful.

Explore my range of sustainably made felt products — perfect for nature lovers, storytellers, and anyone looking for something truly unique.

Nature

Each piece I sell is crafted by hand. Made in small batches. This results in a quirky range of whimsical creatures and decorations many of which are one-of-a-kind ! All are sure to bring a smile.

My "Product" Range of hand- crafted gifts made in my home studio in Co.Kildare is sold in small independent retailers across Ireland and online here.

I use the sales in order to fund my Textile Art Practice of larger textile art pieces, which I exhibit and sell.

After years working in "Big ( nasty) Business"... (fast fashion) and seeing how it destroys the environment and society... 2020 threw me a curve ball, so I caught it!

Turning a crisis ( lost job etc) into an opportunity... I turned my back on fast and furious, to embrace slow and mindful..

Returning to my first love, textiles... but in a good way.

You won't find plastic tat here!

I use biodegradable materials- wool and wood.

All packaging where possible is re-used, recyclable and compostable.

I like to keep my work accessible. I believe art and creativity should be inclusive rather than exclusive and deliberately try to hit all price points, meaning my work is more accessible to many rather than the few.

However... here's a name drop, for those that think that matters too!
