There’s a lovely Irish saying that when a robin appears, a loved one who has passed is near. Whether you believe it, or simply love the thought of it, there’s something very comforting about this tiny red-breasted visitor.

This little Kiko Frame is a miniature artwork in its own right — a hand-crafted robin made from a beautiful collage of tweed, precious silks and delicate embroidery, each tiny piece carefully chosen and stitched by me using free motion on my home machine.

Set behind glass in a warm brass frame and finished with a soft velvet hanging ribbon, it catches the light beautifully and feels like something to treasure.

And because it is handmade, no two robins are ever the same. Each one has its own little personality, colours and character. They are not mass-produced decorations — they are tiny textile artworks, made to be kept.

Hang one on your Christmas tree as a special remembrance, give one to someone who might need a little sign of love, or leave it hanging somewhere beautiful all year round.
