I am from the North of Ireland originally and spend many a holiday with the kids in Donegal even still. The mountains and water draws me back. So although this piece is created in my now adopted county of Kildare, know for its flat grazing pastures and the Curragh plains,  the scene depicted is a memory of mountainsides.

I use wool, cotton threads, silk, and Irish wool tweeds to echo the land’s rich textures and tones.

The inner landscape measures 12cm x 12cm, beautifully mounted and set within a white wood and glass Irish-made frame (26cm x 26cm) see picture of framed landscape, example only— ready to hang or gift.
